So, yah. I was trying to fix the e-mail error and was deleting old e-mails. I accidentally deleted an FTP user to the site who had access to the public_html folder.
Guess what happens when you do that? It deletes EVERYTHING.

Currently unavailable to users until errors are fixed with it.
EMAIL:
Currently being looked into. If you have an infinitybound.net email address it stopped ‘receiving’ mail as of 8 AM 3/16. You can send mail, you just don’t get anything back.
REPEATALOGIN:
This is most common among McAfee & Avast users. It’s to do with them not allowing you to use session based cookies. The first thing you need to check is the security setup you have and make sure you are allowed to use session based cookies.
We are aware of the slowness and have contacted Gatewood to get it corrected. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Tonight, Friday March 14, 2008, there is a planned outage between the hours of 11PM and 3AM Pacific Standard Time.
We apologize for the extremely short time period in which to be informed of this. We were only notified of this maintenance this evening.
The data center housing our servers is planning a maintenance procedure which will affect all of our customers for approximately 2 hours this evening. We have left an open window to accommodate any issues that may arise from their maintenance, which is why it is from 11PM to 3AM PST.

I toyed with a new color scheme for Infinity Bound. I have put up the poll for you to let us know what you think.
Only the main doorway is in the new color scheme. So for those stubbornly using /chat/go/realmname please let them know they need to at least look at the realm selection page to give their input.
Due to a lot of users having the inability to use java and too many of them contacting the staff because of such issues we have implemented a new layout for the main page and the portal page.

Also! When you are contacting us, please be sure to fill out the FORM. If you’re just so stubborn that you can’t fill out the form and you e-mail us, we -never- see your e-mail and cannot reply to you. So whoever it was that put:
“Dude where is the register link” gets -no- answer because it shows the staff as coming from the realm design e-mail and not the original senders. So if you don’t get a response, that’s why.
Effective immediately the following policy is being implemented.
Chatter Expiration Policy:
All non-verified chatters will need to login every thirty (30) days to keep their logins active. If you do not login at least once every thirty (30) days, your login and puppets will be removed from the system. This is automatically done every night in the maintenance, and while we do keep a regular backup of the database, we will not be able to re-add you to the system. You will have to re-join the site. Users who have sponsored the site with any amount of donation are marked as verified users and this does not apply to you. Your accounts never expire.
Beginning March 1, 2008 the following policies will be implemented:
New Realm Policy:
All new realms that request to be public realms will be created in hybrid status for thirty (30) days from their creation date. These thirty (30) days allow the realm owner to set up the realm design, rules, and generate traffic to see if their room is really what they want. Only realms that meet the doorway requirements will be promoted to public. This is what is required on your doorway:

Realm Description (BRIEF)
Current Realm Policy:
All public realms are required to average more than zero (0) posts in a thirty (30) day period. If a realm fails to meet this requirement for two (2) consecutive thirty (30) day periods will be moved to hybrid status and their realm will be listed under the hybrid realm list on the portal page.
Realm owners who are going to be away from their realms for any length of time will need to notify the staff via the contact form (Concern or Suggestion option) so that we may take that into consideration.
Neither of these policies are applicable to hybrid realms. Hybrid realms only are required to meet the realm agreement policy realm owners agree to when requesting a realm.
Support Staff Policy:
The support staff is only officially handling business that is brought to us via the contact form. The following people are the only people who are administration for Infinity Bound.

Tonight Gatewood will be upgrading our mail server and doing some small maintenance on the main part of the server.
You -may- experience some downtime starting around 8PM CST. This should not last very long.
While the mail server is down we highly recommend you save your posts in notepad/wordpad/word/works so you do not lose them should the mail server have to be purged before it is brought back online.
